We will have firearms available for use, but you must purchase ammo. 100 rounds of factory ammo (ammo is available for purchase), eye & ear protection (prescription eyewear acceptable), a ball cap and lunch/snacks. Students will need a pistol (.22 caliber or greater), approx. This objective-based class explores the important facets of firearm ownership including safe gun handling, ammo, maintenance, storage, and basic shooting techniques taught by certified instructors with decades of combined experience. This in-person course is for those who are new to pistols, have limited experience, or want a refresher on basic pistol safety concepts and shooting fundamentals. This is a beginner level firearm safety and shooting course - not a marksmanship or concealed carry class. We have certified coaches with decades of shooting experience and full state/federal clearances. The Susky Ridge Youth Shooting Sports Program is School approved and endorsed by both Susquehanna Community School District and Blue Ridge School District.
